-- On Dec. 10, the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street. As a result, James Seeger, 50, of Brattleboro, was arrested for driving with a criminally suspended license. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Dec. 16, the Brattleboro Police Department took into custody Andrea N. Hudson, 29, of Hinsdale, N.H., on an active arrest warrant stemming from charges of driving under the influence and petit larceny. She was released and ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Dec. 18, at approximately 2:05 a.m., the Vermont State Police stopped to check on a vehicle parked alongside Interstate 91, northbound, near mile marker 9.2. As a result, Steven Bostwick, 61, of Springfield, was arrested and cited for driving with a criminally suspended license and for being in violation of his conditions of release. He was ordered to appear in court on Dec. 31.
-- On Dec. 15, at approximately 5 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Thurber Lane for the report of an assault. As a result, Paula Sarringer, 39, of Guilford, was arrested after she left the home and was later found on Canal Street in Brattleboro. Subsequently, Sarringer was arrested and cited for domestic assault and ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Dec. 6, the Keene Police Department received an information on its anonymous tipline about a person soliciting prostitution on Craigslist. That same day, police initiated an online conversation with Victor Muscat, 36, of Newfane, which culminated with Muscat driving to Keene to meet an adult female to engage in what he believed would be sex for money. Muscat instead was met by two police detectives and taken into custory. He was cited with a misdemeanor count of prostitution and released on $5,000 bail. He was ordered to appear in Keene Circuit Court on Jan. 17.
-- On Dec. 16, at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Vermont State Police arrested Joseph A. Kapitanski, Jr., 53, of Londonderry, and cited him for driving while intoxicated, fourth offense. He was ordered to appear in court on Jan. 28.
-- On Dec. 16, at approximately 7:45 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to mile marker 3 of southbound Interstate 91 for the report of a tractor-trailer accident. Troopers learned Chester S. Lamansky, 61, of Woonsocket, R.I., was traveling south in a Mack 600 when, for undetermined reasons, the unit veered west off the roadway and into the trees. Lemansky suffered a minor injury to his hand but did not seek medical treatment. Neither alcohol nor speed appeared to be a factor in the crash. The tractor trailer was destroyed in the crash.
