Bellows Falls

-- On Jan. 29, at approximately 10 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Street. As a result, Carl Record, of Bellows Falls was arrested for driving with a suspended license and possession of a regulated drug. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Jan. 31, at approximately 1 a.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to a residence on Atkinson Street for the report of an unwanted person. As a result, Michael Johnson, of Bellows Falls, was arrested for disorderly conduct and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Feb. 10, at approximately 8:15 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to a residence on Reese Circle to a report of a domestic assault. As a result, Brian McAnuff, 18, of Bellows Falls, was arrested and cited with first degree aggravated domestic assault. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Brattleboro

-- On Jan. 31, the Windham County Sheriff’s Department arrested Brendan S. Anderson, 24, of Longmeadow, Mass., on a warrant for two counts of domestic assault, unlawful restraint and unlawful mischief. He was taken into custody and later appeared before in court.

-- On Feb. 11, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Hannaford Supermarket on Putney Road for the report of shoplifting in progress. As a result, Joyce V. Baker, 39, of Bellows Falls, and a juvenile, were arrested and cited for retail theft. They were ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Feb. 13, at approximately 7:35 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Exit 3 of Interstate 91 for the report of a single-vehicle accident. Troopers determined Cathy T. Chamberlin, 51, of Bellows Falls, was on the southbound off ramp when she lost control of her vehicle, went into the area dividing the onramp and offramp and struck a reflector post. Chamberlin was not injured in the crash and her vehicle sustained moderate front end damage. Chamberlin was able to drive the vehicle from the scene. There were no injuries.

Guilford

-- On Jan. 11, at approximately 3:20 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91. As a result Oscar M. Maldonado, 32, of Queens, N.Y., was found to have more than 800 Oxycodone pills in his possession. He was arrested, cited for possession of a controlled narcotic and ordered to appear in court on Feb. 12.

Halifax

-- On Feb. 11, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Collins Road for the report of a two-vehicle accident. Troopers determined Kyle Bell, 29, of East Haddam, Conn., backed out of a driveway and collided with a vehicle being driven by Jill Howe, 54, of Brattleboro. There were no injuries reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Marlboro

-- On Feb. 12, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Upper Dover Road for the report of a single vehicle accident. Troopers determined Sally A. McMurphy, 64, of West Dover, was driving north when she took her eyes off the roadway momentarily to tune the radio. As a result of looking away from the roadway, McMurphy’s vehicle drifted to the right and struck a large tree just off the east side of the roadway. After striking the tree, the vehicle went across both lanes into the snow bank. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to the damage.

Putney

-- On Jan. 28, the Windham County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence for a report of a residential burglary alarm. After an investigation three juveniles were arrested for unlawful trespass. All three were cited to appear in court at a later date.

Wilmington

-- On Jan. 28, the Windham County Sheriff’s Department arrested Justin Perdue, 22, of Wilmington on a warrant for failure to appear in court for a pre-trial conference. He was taken into custody and later appeared in court.
