Bellows Falls

-- On Feb. 19, at approximately 7 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department was responded to the report of an intoxicated driver on Atkinson Street. As a result, Jeffrey S. Pace, 44, of Bellows Falls, was arrested and cited with driving under the influence, third offense, and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Brattleboro

-- On Feb. 4, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Brattleboro Food Co-op for a shoplifting report. As a result, on Feb. 17, David Weeks, 22, of Brattleboro, was cited for retail theft. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Feb. 11, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Circle K on Canal Street for the report of a theft. As a result, Amanda R. Thayer, 32, of Brattleboro, was cited for retail theft and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Guilford

-- On Feb. 19, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Interstate 91 for the report of a single vehicle accident. Troopers determined Norman Merrill, 36, of Chester, was traveling south in the travel lane at approximately 50 mph when he lost control of his vehicle, struck the guard rail on the west side of the roadway, crossed both southbound lane and went into the deep snow in the median. There were no injuries. Merrill was towed back onto the roadway and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.

Westminster

-- On Feb. 20, at approximately 10:50 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Interstate 91 for the report of a single vehicle accident. Troopers determined Rodney Tulba, 61, of Waterford, Conn., was traveling north when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail. The vehicle struck slush that was in the roadway, which led to the loss of control. Tulba and a passenger were both wearing seatbelts and were not injured.
