Andover

-- On March 19, at approximately 7 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to North Hill Road for the report of a single vehicle crash. Troopers determined Jacob Matyas, 23, of Windham, was traveling down a hill on the icy roadway and lost control. His 2013 Ford F150 traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree causing moderate front end damage. He was not injured.

Brattleboro

-- On March 11, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Label Shopper on Putney Road for the report of a retail theft. As a result, Joyce V. Baker, 39, of Bellows Falls, was cited for retail theft and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On March 19, at approximately 8:15 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to mile marker eight of Interstate 91 for the report of a single vehicle accident. Troopers determined Zsolt Orban, 46, of Bristol, R.I., was traveling north at approximately 65 to 70 mph when he lost control of his vehicle on slush-covered roadways. Orban's vehicle began to fishtail and he ultimately lost control. As a result of the loss of control, Orban rolled his vehicle over and came to rest facing southbound in the northbound lane. Orban's vehicle is considered a total loss and was towed from the scene. Orban sustained only minor cuts and lacerations in the crash and refused medical attention.

-- On March 20, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Western Avenue and South Street.

As a result, Daniel C. Keniston, 26, of Brattleboro, was found to be operating with a criminally suspended drivers license. Keniston was arrested, processed and later released with a citation to appear in court on May 20.

-- On March 20, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Donald Reetz, 44, of Brattleboro, and cited him with unlawful trespass. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On March 20, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested William Bruder, 27, of Brattleboro, and cited him with failing to appear in court.

-- On March 21, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Dylan Class, 19, of Bellows Falls, and cited him with aggravated domestic assault. Class was ordered held on $25,000 bond.

-- On March 23, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Janet Bates, 54, of Brattleboro and cited her with criminal contempt and operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On March 24, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Brattleboro Food Co-op for the report of retail theft. As a result, Joseph J. Martin, 48, of Brattleboro, was cited for retail theft and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On March 25, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Donald J. Reetz, Jr., 45, of Brattleboro, and cited him for trespassing. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Keene, N.H.

-- On March 18, at approximately 5:30 a.m., the Brattleboro Police Department notified police agencies in New Hampshire that it had attempted to stop for speeding a green Audi with Vermont plates. The driver refused to stop and during a pursuit in New Hampshire reached speeds of more than 100 mph. The driver eventually turned in the parking lot of Home Depot on Route 9 on the west side of Keene before getting out of his car and running into the store.

Police eventually arrested Ronald M. Fortin, 31, of Brattleboro, and cited him with reckless operation, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest and unsafe lane changes. He was ordered to appear in court.

Londonderry

-- On March 19, at approximately 7:40 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Route 100 for the report of a single vehicle rollover. Troopers determined Michelle Barrett, 17, of South Londonderry, was traveling south when she hit black ice on the roadway and lost control. Her Subaru Impreza traveled off the right side of the roadway before striking a snowbank and rolling over. Barrett was not injured.

Newfane

-- On March 23, at approximately 4:25 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Route 30 for the report of a single vehicle accident. Troopers determined David L. Adams, 64, of West Springfield, Mass., was driving south when he encountered a small section of roadway where the melting snow had refrozen creating a section of very slippery and ice covered roadway. As Adams traveled over this section of ice, he lost control of his vehicle. As a result of the loss of control, Adams vehicle began to fishtail. He was unable to regain control of his vehicle, which went up onto a steep embankment on the west side of the roadway before rolling over and coming to rest on its wheels facing south in the northbound travel lane.

Adams, who was wearing his seatbelt, sustained minor lacerations and bumps and bruises in this crash. Adams was wearing his seatbelt. Newbrook Fire and Rescue Inc. assisted at the scene.

Rutland

-- On March 20, the Vermont State Police arrested Jacob Johnson, 22, of Londonderry, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for first-degree aggravated domestic assault. Johnson was suspected in an incident on March 10 that resulted in serious injuries to the victim. A warrant was issued on March 14. During directed patrols in Londonderry, seven troopers were able to obtain numerous leads, ruling out numerous locations until they obtained information that Johnson was in Rutland. FTroopers were able to narrow the location down to a residence on Plain Street and working in conjunction with Rutland City Police located Johnson in a residence there. He was arrested on the warrant without incident and was ordered held without bail.

Vernon

-- On March 22, the Vernon Police Department arrested Alexander Hrabovsky, 22, of Brattleboro, and cited him for simple assault. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
