Athens

-- On May 6, the Vermont State Police responded to a seasonal camp on Valley Cemetery Road for the report of a burglary. Force was used to gain entry to the home and considerable damage was done inside. The break-in is believed to have occurred between sometime in March and May 6. Anyone with information regarding the burglary at this location is asked to contact Trooper Wood at the State Police Barracks in Rockingham at 802-875-2112.

Bellows Falls

-- On April 29, at approximately 8 a.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to the parking lot of the Greater Falls Pharmacy for the report of an unconscious woman, who was identified as Brynna Lawton, 23, no place of residence given. Lawton was found to have an arrest warrant issued from Orleans County. She was arrested and in her vehicle was found bath salts and heroin. She was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

-- On April 1, the Bellows Falls Police Department received a report of a retail theft. Following an investigation, Mary E. Graves and Jessica Ryea, both of Bellows Falls, were cited with retail theft and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Brattleboro

-- On April 28, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to 911 Western Avenue for the report of a fight. As a result, Jia Guang Wong and Ling Lin were cited with disorderly conduct and ordered to appear in court at a later date. No age or place of residence was given for either.

-- On April 29, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Crescent Drive for a report of an active dispute. Before police arrived the suspect had fled the scene. After further investigation, Christopher M. Silva, 24, of Bellow Falls, was cited for unlawful mischief and disorderly conduct. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date to face the charges.

-- On May 3, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Crescent Drive for the report of an assault. As a result, James J. Alfano, 58, of Brattleboro, was cited for domestic assault and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On May 3, at approximately 1:10 a.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Canal Street. As a result, Christopher Mattson, 50, of Williamsville, was arrested for possession of cocaine. Mattson was issued a citation to appear in court on June 3.

-- On May 4, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Brattleboro Retreat for the report of an intoxicated subject on the property. As a result, Harry E. LeBlanc, 44, of Winchester, N.H., was arrested for driving under the influence and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On May 5, the Windham County Sheriff's Department arrested Charles Wolfenbarger, 25, of Springfield, on a warrant for failure to appear in court. He was taken into custody and later appeared in court.

-- On May 7, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on northbound Interstate 91. As a result, Timothy Chamberlin Sr., 53, of Dummerston, was arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated. He was ordered to appear in court on May 27.

-- On Nov. 11, 2013, the Brattleboro Police Department began an investigation into a reported theft at a residence on Upper Forest Street. As a result, on May 7, Noah Sherman, 38, of Brattleboro, was cited for petit larceny and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Halifax

-- Around mid-December 2013 troopers from the Vermont State Police Brattleboro Barracks began an investigation involving larcenies from several residences in Windham County. During the investigation it was determined Amy Gabriel, 33, of Halifax, was hired as a house cleaner for several of these residences. As a result of the investigation Gabriel has been cited with two counts of grand larceny. The investigation into these larcenies is continuing and the Vermont State Police is asking anyone who had employed Amy Gabriel to contact Trooper Chris Lora at the Brattleboro Barracks at 802-254-2382. Gabriel was ordered to appear in court on June 24.

Rockingham

-- On May 6, at approximately 12:10 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Interstate 91 for the report of a single-vehicle crash. Troopers determined Beverly Lawrence, of Rindge, N.H., was traveling south when she fell asleep, causing her to lose control of her vehicle and leave the travel portion of the roadway where she struck a ledge. A passenger in the vehicle suffered a broken humerus (shoulder) and a serious hand injury. Both were transported to Springfield Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Lawrence was treated for minor injuries and released. Her passenger was transferred to the care of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. His condition was reported as stable.

Saxtons River

-- On May 7, at approximately 9:25 a.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pleasant Valley Road. As a result, Jeremy Duby, 31, of Westminster, was cited for operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license. He was ordered to appear in court on June 17.

Westminster

-- On May 3, the Windham County Sheriff's Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 121. As a result, Tasha Temple, 32, of Westminster, was arrested and cited for driving under the influence. She was ordered to appear in court on May 20.
