BRATTLEBORO -- The Parade begins promptly at 10 a.m., leaving from Flat Street, going up Main Street and Putney Road, turning left on Park Place and finishing near the entrance to the Retreat. The heifers themselves will split off on Park Place to head for their resting area at the east end of the Common, where the public is invited to meet them.

Dogs should not be brought to the parade or to the expo, since the heifers and other animals may not react well to them.
