Bellows Falls

-- On May 20, at approximately 5 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department received a call from concerned parents who advised their daughter, who was riding a bus from Bellows Falls to Rutland, was solicited by a man to sell marijuana for him in Bellows Falls. Following an investigation, Joshua J. Lewis, of Rutland, was found to be in possession of prescription medicine without a prescription. He was cited with possession of narcotics and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 10, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to the Shell station at the corner of Westminster Street and Atkinson Street for the report of an intoxicated man. Police located Kevin Baker, no age given, of Bellows Falls, staggering down the sidewalk in front of the Rockingham Free Public Library. While speaking with officers, Baker became belligerent and was taken into custody. He was cited with disorderly conduct and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 26, the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to the Cumberland Farms convenience store for the report of a shoplifting incident. Following an investigation, officers located a suspect at the "Stairside" apartments at 7 Westminster Street. While attempting to make contact with the suspect, Shadow Smith, of Westminster, attempted to hide the stolen merchandise and then lied about its whereabouts.

Smith was taken into custody on a probation violation and was cited with impeding a police officer and possession of stolen property. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 27, at approximately 12:10 a.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Westminster Street. As a result, Brandy S. Cheney, of Springfield, was arrested, cited with driving under the influence and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 28, John Curry, 64, of Bellows Falls, arrived at the Bellows Falls Police Department to make a sworn statement about an occurrence at the Williams Street Extension. Following an investigation, Curry was arrested and cited with simple assault with a weapon. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 2, at approximately 10 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to a residence on Westminster Street for the report of a family fight. As a result, Jessica L. Dearden, no age given, of Bellows Falls, was taken into custody and cited with domestic assault. She was ordered to appear in court on July 3.

Brattleboro

-- On June 30, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Sonny's Pit Stop on Canal Street for a report of a man refusing to come out of the bathroom. As a result, Richard Brown, 43, no place of residence given, was cited with possession of heroin and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 30, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Whetstone Walkway in the vicinity of the Brattleboro Food Co-op for a report of a trespasser. As a result, Milo M. Fields, 60, of Brattleboro, was cited with unlawful trespass and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 30, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Brattleboro Food Co-op for a report of a trespasser. As a result, Forest Hughes, 22, of Brattleboro was cited with unlawful trespass and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 30, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Brattleboro Food Co-op for a report of a shoplifter. As a result, Jian C. Ciannavei, 22, of Brattleboro, was cited with retail theft and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On June 30, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Polly J. McNaughton, 21, of Guilford, for violating her court-ordered conditions of release that she not operate a vehicle. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 1, David R. Gates, 51, of Brattleboro, was cited with contempt for consuming alcohol, which is a violation of his conditions of release. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 2, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested James Neveu, 57, of Brattleboro, and cited him with unlawful trespass. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 2, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to America's Best Inn on Putney Road for the report of an assault. Following an investigation, George C. Onuoha, 40, of Brattleboro, was cited with aggravated domestic assault and unlawful restraint and ordered to appear in court on July 3.

Guilford

-- On July 2, at approximately 10 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a stop on Interstate 91 north for a vehicle traveling at 102 mph. As a result, Sydney J. Clark-Adams, 17, of Brattleboro, was arrested and cited with excessive speed and careless and negligent operation. She was ordered to appear in court on Aug. 19.

Vernon

-- On July 2, the Windham County Sheriff's Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pond Road. As a result, Jason R. Miller, 33, of Vernon, was arrested for driving under the influence and ordered to appear in court on July 11.

Westminster

-- On July 3, at approximately 40 minutes past midnight, the Vermont State Police responded to Back Westminster Road for the report of a single vehicle crash. As a result, Alexandria Mann, 22, of Cambridgeport, was taken into custody and cited with driving under the influence. She was ordered to appear in court on July 22.
