-- On May 28, the Brattleboro Police Department began an investigation into a report of stolen vehicle. It was determined there was a civil agreement drawn up between buyer and seller but William Brown, 48, of Brattleboro had received money from the buyer but not given it to the seller. As a result, Brown was cited with petit larceny and ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On July 6, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Canal Street for the report of an assault. As a result, police identified a person of interest as Philip Paquette, 24, of Brattleboro. Anyone who might have information on Paquette's whereabouts is urged to contact the police at 802-257-7950.
-- On July 8, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Forrest Hughes, 22, of Brattleboro, with unlawful trespass. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On July 8, at approximately 10:20 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Thompsonburg Road for a defective tail light. As a result, Marshall Wittman, 30, of Londonderry, was arrested for driving under the influence. Because he was driving with a child in the back seat, Wittman was also cited with child endangerment. He was ordered to appear in court on July 29.
-- On July 8, at approximately 7:15 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 southbound. As a result, Amanda Conant, 23, of Bomoseen, was arrested and cited with possession of a narcotic, stimulant or depressant and possession of cocaine. She was ordered to appear in court on Aug. 12.
