Bellows Falls

-- On July 18, the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Mark Bresland, 49, of Bellows Falls, on an outstanding warrant. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 19, the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to a residence at Hapgood Place for a report of domestic violence. Following an investigation, Jarek Ostrowski, 25, and Jordan Ostrowski, 24, both of Concord, N.H., were cited with domestic assault and ordered to appear in court on July 21.

-- On July 20, the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Christian Hansen, 38, of Bellows Falls, and cited him with domestic assault and unlawful mischief. He was ordered to appear in court on July 21.

-- On July 20, the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to Our Place Drop In Center for the report of a burglary in process. As a result, two 13-year-olds were taken into custody and later released to their guardians. They were cited with burglary and giving false information to a police officer and ordered to appear in family court on Sept. 4.

Brattleboro

-- On June 23, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the parking lot of New England Youth Theater for a report of a two-vehicle crash, in which one of the vehicles had left the scene. Following an investigation, Michael A. Monette, 37, of Brattleboro, was cited with leaving the scene of an accident and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 8, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a home on South Main Street to assist the Brattleboro Fire Department in an investigation related to a smoke alarm. As a result, Jennifer Winslow, 43, of Brattleboro, was cited for filing a false report and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 13, the Brattleboro Police Department observed Robert Bessette, 56, of Brattleboro, to be in operation of a motor vehicle, though his license had been criminally suspended. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 17, the Brattleboro Police Department received a complaint from Auto Mall that it had received a bad check in the amount of $4,855.86 in payment for a snow plow. As a result, Kristian P. Branley, 24, of Stratton, was cited with passing a bad check and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 17, David R. Gates, 51, of Brattleboro, reported to the Brattleboro Police Department for his court ordered daily check-in. As a result, Gates was arrested for consuming alcohol, a violation of the conditions of his release. He was ordered to appear in court on July 22.

-- On July 18, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Tami L. Smith, 50, of Brattleboro, with unlawful trespass. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 19, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested James Riccard, 51, of Brattleboro, and cited him with reckless endangerment. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Rockingham

-- On July 19, at approximately 12:20 a.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 southbound following a report of an erratic driver. As a result, Christopher Martineau, 33, of Hamden, Conn., was arrested for driving under the influence, cited and ordered to appear in court on July 29.

Vernon

-- On July 18, the Windham County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Skillings Road for an underage drinking party that had been discovered. Fifteen juveniles were issued notices of violation for consuming alcohol. The Brattleboro Police Department, Vermont State Police and the Vernon Fire Department assisted at the scene. Westminster

-- On July 19, at approximately 3:55 p.m., the Vermont State Police investigated a report that Mary Sharkey, 54, of Westminster, had violated her court ordered conditions by being at a house on West Stagecoach Road. Sharkey was arrested and ordered to appear in court no Aug. 19.

Whitingham

-- On July 19, the Vermont State Police responded to the report of a domestic assault. As a result, Bradley Hicks, 44, of Whitingham, was arrested and cited to appear in court no July 22.

Wilmington

-- On July 15, Donald Ray Boles, 67, of Wilmington, was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with assistance from the Wilmington Police Department. Boles was cited with one count of possession of child pornography and ordered to appear in court at a later date.
