Brattleboro

-- On June 30, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the area of Upper Forest Street for the report of a trespassing complaint. Following an investigation, Noah D. Sherman, 39, of Brattleboro, was cited with being in violation of his court-ordered conditions of release and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 15, the Windham County Sheriff's Office arrested Brenda Barbour, 45, of Saxtons River in the courtroom of Windham County Superior Court, Family Division, and cited her with disorderly conduct. She was ordered to appear in court on Aug. 19.

-- On July 16, the Windham County Sheriff's Office arrested Dannis Santos, 26, of Brattleboro, and cited him with violating the conditions of his release and for violating a relief from abuse protection order. He was ordered to appear in court on Aug. 19.

-- On July 21, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a motel on Putney Road for the report of a possible overdose. Following an investigation, it was determined that no overdose occurred, however, Clinton T. Rumrill, 30, of Brattleboro, was found to be in violation of his court-ordered conditions of release. He was cited and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 21, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Milo Fields, 60, of Putney, and cited him with unlawful trespass. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Chesterfield, N.H.

-- On July 12, at approximately 11:40 p.m., the New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9.

As a result, Chad Lockwood, 36, of Vernon, Vt., was cited with driving while intoxicated and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Dummerston

-- On July 18, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Vermont State Police received a report that a vehicle had been taken from the Dummerston DMV lot without permission. The vehicle was found a short time later, abandoned at Moore Court in Brattleboro. Following an investigation, Crystal Scipio, 33, of Brattleboro, was cited with operating a vehicle without the owner's consent and ordered to appear in court on Sept. 2.

Hinsdale, N.H.

-- On July 11, at approximately 8:40 p.m., the New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street. As a result, Bernard Cardinal, 40, of Hinsdale, was cited with operating a vehicle with a suspended license. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Keene, N.H.

-- On July 6, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the New Hampshire State Police took into custody Samuel Burton, 37, of Brattleboro, on an active arrest warrant.

Vernon

-- On July 21, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Windham County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on Franklin Road near the Guilford town line. Deputies determined James DeAngelis, 28, of Spofford, N.H., who was driving a motorcycle, was in an accident with a car being driven by Julia Lesure, 23, of Vernon. DeAngelis was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained during the crash. Lesure was treated on the scene by emergency personnel.

The Vernon Fire Department, Guilford Volunteer Fire Department, Vermont State Police Accident Reconstruction Team, Rescue Inc. and Brattleboro Towing assisted at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Windham County Sheriff's Office, Vernon Division, at 802-254-6962.

Winchester, N.H.

-- On July 4, at approximately 4:50 p.m., the New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 10. As a result, Samantha Clark, 20, of Hinsdale, was cited with illegal transportation of alcohol and Jaimee Franklin, 19, of Vernon, Vt., was cited with illegal possession of alcohol. In addition, Eric Wojcik, 25, of Hinsdale, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant. The three were scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
