-- On July 20, an altercation at the Brattleboro Retreat resulted in four staffers being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital before being released. Due to privacy laws, no information on the altercation is available to the public.

-- On July 22, the Windham County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kord Kowalski, 22, of West Chesterfield, N.H., on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

-- On July 23, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Michael A. Monette, 37, of Brattleboro, with violating the conditions of his release. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 24, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Daniel Kollick for a burglary that occurred in April. He was cited and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 24, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Bruce S. Powling, 56, of Brattleboro, with unlawful trespass for being on the property of New England Railroad, off of Arch Street. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 24, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Brattleboro Police Department, the Brattleboro Fire Department and Rescue Inc. responded to a motor vehicle collision with a roll-over on Western Avenue near Exit 2 of Interstate 91.

Following an investigation, police determined Yasmin Tayeby, 26, of Brattleboro, was driving west on Western Avenue in a 2014 Mini Cooper when she was struck by a 2005 Toyota Prius being driven by Scott E.

Whitehill, 67, of Keene, N.H. According to police, Whitehill had been driving on the Exit 2 offramp for southbound Interstate 91 when he drove onto Western Avenue and struck Tayeby vehicle, which flipped over onto its roof. No one was injured in the accident, but Whitehall was issued a ticket for failure to yield at a stop sign.

-- On July 25, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested James Riccard, 53, of Brattleboro, following an investigation into two recent burglaries at local downtown businesses. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On July 25, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on South Main Street for the report of an assault. Following an investigation, Conette M. Billetdeaux, 47, of Brattleboro, Mark A. Smith, 49, of Brattleboro, and Melissa Butterfield, 36, of Putney, were cited with disorderly conduct and ordered to appear in court at a later date.
