Bellows Falls

-- On Aug. 29, at approximately 12:40 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on Route 5 northbound. The driver of the vehicle sped off but was eventually located on northbound Interstate 91. As a result, a passenger in the vehicle, Dsaun O. Green, of New London, Conn., was taken into custody and cited with giving false information to a police officer. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Aug. 31, at approximately 2:35 a.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Wells Street. As a result, Frank A. Greiner, 43, of Bellows Falls, was cited with driving under the influence and possession of cocaine. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Sept. 1, at approximately 8:50 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department received a report of a domestic dispute on Laurel Avenue in which a person had been pushed down a flight of stairs. As a result, Justin Tyler, of Putney, was taken into custody, cited with domestic assault, and ordered to appear in court on Sept. 2.

Brattleboro

-- On Aug. 9, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to School Street for the report of a citizen dispute. Following an investigation, Marta Adams, 46, and Jodie Jacobs, 35, both of Brattleboro, were cited with simple assault and disorderly conduct and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

29, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Maureen Fagans, 35, and Amber Dibona, 28, both of Brattleboro, with disorderly conduct, following an investigation of an incident on Elliot Street. Both were ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Aug. 29, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Stephanie Barber, 32, of Brattleboro, and cited her with violating the conditions of her release. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Aug. 29, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Donald Wilkins, 35, of Brattleboro, with grossly negligent operation. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Aug. 29, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Stephanie Barber, 32, of Brattleboro, and cited her with violating the conditions of her release. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Aug. 31, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on South Main Street for the report of a theft. Following an investigation, Whitney L. Kennett, 24, of Brattleboro, was cited with criminal contempt and Steven M. Streeter, 22, also of Brattleboro, was cited with petit larceny. Both were ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Sept. 1, at approximately 1:20 a.m., the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Guilford Street. As a result, Jaymes Kimball, 26, of Brattleboro, was cited for driving with a criminally suspended license. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Sept. 1, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Brattleboro Police Department were conducting speed enforcement on Cedar Street when they observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. As a result, Mark J. Lepisto, 34, of Brattleboro, was cited with excessive speed and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Sept. 1, the Brattleboro Police Department received a report of a possible domestic assault. Following an investigation, Joshua Grabel, 38, of Brattleboro, was cited and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Sept. 1, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. As a result, Craig M. Hudson, 44, of Brattleboro, was cited with domestic assault and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Grafton

-- On Sept. 2, at approximately 2:10 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Route 35 for the report of a single-vehicle crash. Troopers determined Theodore Soobitsky, 39, of Jamaica, was driving along at 40 mph when the right front tire of his truck ran off into the grass portion of the roadway.  He said the gravel on the side of the road was loose, which prevented him from correcting the direction of the truck and subsequently he continued into a deep ditch on the right side of the roadway where he damaged his truck from hitting the ledges in the ditch. Benny’s Auto and Towing of Chester pulled the truck back to the roadway and transported the operator and vehicle. It is believed that speed and intoxicants were not a factor in this event.

Halifax

-- On Aug. 19, at approximately 3:10 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Green River Road for the report of a single-vehicle crash. Troopers determined Alden K. Boynton, 36, of Brattleboro, misjudged a curve in the road and her vehicle hit a concrete bridge abutment. There was no damage to the bridge, but the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Londonderry

-- The Vermont State Police is investigating the theft of two light-blue 10-foot Pelican kayaks from a residence on Vermont Route 11 between Aug. 1 and 22. Taken along with the kayaks were the paddles and seats. Anyone with information in regards to the whereabouts of the kayaks is asked to contact the Vermont State Police at the Rockingham Barracks at 802-875-2112.

-- On Sept. 1, at approximately 5:50 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Lake Road. As a result, Christopher Laskey, 52, of Windham, was arrested for driving under the influence and ordered to appear in court on Sept. 16.

Stratton

-- On Aug. 30, at approximately 1:45 p.m., the Windham County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Stratton Arlington Road. Deputies determined Bernard Druke, 91, of Brattleboro, had swerved to avoid striking a deer that was in the roadway. As a result, Druke’s vehicle went off the road, striking a tree. Druke escaped serious injury due to the fact he was wearing his seatbelt. The sheriff’s office was assisted the Stratton and Wardsboro Fire Departments and Stratton Mountain Rescue. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Walt’s Towing and Service.

Townshend

-- On Aug. 28, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a home on Peaked Mountain Road. As a result, Daisy M. Aguirre Lynch, 32, of Townshend, was arrested and cited with domestic assault. She was ordered to appear in court on Aug. 29.

Vernon

-- On Aug. 30, the Windham County Sheriff’s Office arrested John King, 41, of Vernon for second-degree aggravated domestic assault. He was ordered to appear in court on Sept. 2.

Westminster

-- On Aug. 29, at approximately 7:35 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a report of an erratic driver on Interstate 91. The vehicle was eventually stopped at mile marker 27. As a result, Tammi LaClair, 47, of Brattleboro, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. She was ordered to appear in court on Sept. 16.

-- On Sept. 1, the Vermont State Police responded to a report of vandalism to several mailboxes along Kurn Hattin Road and Pine Banks Road in Westminster and South Pine Banks Road and Quarry Road in Putney. White River Junction

-- On Sept. 1, at approximately 11:20 p.m., the Vermont State Police received a report of an erratic driver on Interstate 89. Shortly afterward, the Vermont State Police received a report of a domestic dispute on the side of the highway in Royalton. The Hartford Police Department later located the vehicle at the Station Market Mobil Station on the corner of US Route 5 and Sykes Avenue in White River Junction.

As a result, Tyler Green, 32, of Putney, was arrested and cited with driving under the influence, domestic assault, reckless endangerment and cruelty to children. He was ordered to appear in court on Sept. 2.
