CLAREMONT, N.H. (AP) - About 3,000 people are still without power following the heavy, wet snow that blanketed the region.

Public Service of New Hampshire was reporting about 2,700 people out Monday afternoon. Most of the outages were in the western part of the state.

The New Hampshire Electric Co-op was reporting about 300 without power.

The 3,000 without power is about half the number from Monday morning.

The snow has stopped but frigid temperatures are expected over the next few days.
