CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Five companies hoping to participate in the online insurance market created by the Affordable Care Act in New Hampshire will share information about their proposed provider networks next week.
The New Hampshire Insurance Department is holding two sessions for the public to explain the types of plans that will be offered and the hospitals that will be included in each company's provider network.
This year, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield was the only company selling plans through the new marketplace, and it was criticized for excluding 10 hospitals. Next year, two other private insurance companies and two cooperatives also expect to offer plans.
The first session will be held Tuesday afternoon in Concord. The second will be held Thursday in Conway.
