BENNINGTON (AP) - The southwestern Vermont shire town of Bennington will be bursting with flavor this Labor Day weekend.

The 19th annual Garlic and Herb Festival is Saturday and Sunday at the Camelot Village on Vermont Route 9.

Last year's edition attracted about 10,000 people, including 150 vendors.

Aside from a wide variety of garlics and garlic products, the festival will include live music, other entertainment and children's activities.

The Bennington Banner reports that new items being offered this year include an organic cleaning solution made from garlic, as well as venison and ostrich egg food products.
