Rockingham Old Home Days

BELLOWS FALLS -- The following is a schedule for Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Rockingham Old Home Days:

7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., "Bring It Home" 5K Run/Walk Registration at the TDBank parking lot. Registration fee $10. Assisted by Greater Rock Fitness Center. All proceeds support Rockingham Old Home Days.

10 a.m.-noon, Family Fun and Fitness at Hetty Green Park. Bean bag toss, hula hoops, croquet, jump roping, Simon Says, water balloon toss, etc. assisted by Greater Rock Fitness Center.

In the Square: 1:30 p.m., Purly Gates; 3:30 p.m., Loose Few; 4:30 p.m., Milkhouse Heaters; 2:30 p.m., Popolo Deck, Travis Adams and Friends; 6 p.m. until fireworks, The Ride.

3 and 5 p.m., "Madagascar III," rated PG, shown at the Bellows Falls Opera House.

Sidewalk sales at several stores around the town. Food sampling at Popolo throughout the day.

10 a.m.-4 p.m., Antique Car Show at the Waypoint Center; Bounce House in the Square; Vermont National Guard Climbing Wall in the Square.

10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tony Devlin, juggler in the Square; noon-4 p.m., Petting zoo and pony rides and Cheryl the Clown in the Square.

In the Square: 10:30 a.m., Curves Zumba demo and Le Studio dance demo; noon, Dance demo; 12:30-2:30 p.m., Gymnastic demos and contests. Hip Hop class 11 a.m.-noon, in the Lower Theater.

At Village Square Booksellers: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Face Painting, Lego-building table,

and TARPS Animal Shelter; 1-4 p.m., Strategy Games.

J and H Dunk Tank in the Square, noon-6 p.m.; Halladays Wine and Cheese Tasting, noon-5 p.m.

11 a.m., Athens pizza eating contest; noon, Dari Joy ice cream eating contest; 12:30 p.m., Drummers Circle and Hula Hoop contest.

10 a.m.-4 p.m., Antique Truck Show at Bellows Falls Union High School.

2-4 p.m., Adams Grist Mill Museum, Bellows Falls Historical Society, Mill Street (tentative).

Fireworks at dusk.
