HEALTH CARE FORUM: Tom Scull, a Principal at The Richards Group, will present a seminar on health care reform on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Popolo Restaurant, 36 The Square, in Bellows Falls.
Subjects that will be discussed include the Affordable Care Act, an update on Vermont health reform, the Vermont Exchange, and transitioning to defined contribution benefit offerings.
The seminar is for anyone who is a sole proprietor with 15, 75 or 500 employees.

SENIOR HEALTH: The Brattleboro Senior Center will offer the program "Nourishing Our Lives," a discussion group that will meet every first and third Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Gibson-Aiken Center, 207 Main St.
Experiences will be share to help seniors meet their needs for health and wellness and receive encouragement from friends. Everyone is welcome.

BLOOD DONOR DAY: The American Red Cross, in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, is sponsoring a Toys for Kids Blood Drive on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the VFW Post No. 1034 at 40 Black Mountain Road in Brattleboro from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Healthy people ages 17 and older may donate. Positive ID is required.
The U.S. Marine Corps is asking all potential blood donors to bring a new unwrapped gift to the blood drive. They request no toy guns or knives be donated.

SENIOR LUNCH: The Guilford Senior Lunch, sponsored by Senior Solutions will take place on Friday, Dec. 7, at noon at the Guilford Community Church.
The menu will include goulash, tossed salad, and bread with fresh fruit crisp for dessert.
Books will be available on loan from the Guilford Free Library. Blood pressures will be taken courtesy of Guilford Cares.
