"Oliver" had its London premiere in 1960. Hot on its heels came the Broadway production in 1963 and movie in 1968. Dickens’ quintessential melodrama of hardship and redemption, with its timeless characters, and Lionel Bart’s sensational score, has become a musical for the ages, having been played in 22 languages around the globe. Its songs include "Food Glorious Food," "Consider Yourself," "You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two," "I’d Do Anything," "Oom Pah Pah," "As Long As He Needs Me" and many more.

NEYT staged the show in 2006 -- the last production in its old theater on Main Street. Come experience a new generation of NEYT performers, bringing to life the orphans, pickpockets, good souls and right-down bad ‘uns in NEYT’s new production of "Oliver!"

The show is sponsored by Berkley & Veller Greenwood Country Realtors and The Richards Group.
