BRATTLEBORO - The Driftwood Cafe Outdoor Gallery and Grill is very pleased to announce our lineup for Gallery Walk Sept. 5. We are hosting and welcoming back to Brattleboro Sage Feldman who spent her summer first as a juried artist at the Internationally recognized Eco Fest in Provincetown, Mass. in April held by The Provincetown Conservation Trust , this major yearly festival is curated by Dorothy Palanza and includes major national, regional and international artists, scientists, naturalists and readings, workshops, and talks.
Sage is now showing still in Provincetown at Gallery Ehva, the oldest gallery in Ptown where she has recreated her major installation from Eco Fest. We are so happy to welcome her home to Brattleboro. She’ll be showing her small installations and canvas along with installations around the area of The Driftwood. We anticipate the arrival of her father Barry Feldman from Greece, internationally prominent, they are putting together a father-daughter exhibit.
Sage’s work is sensitive to her environment. Applying her mediums that are oftentimes found things from the earth or water, she creates where there was nothing before as a part of what is. Her large scale work from evolving nature Season to Season now two years old can be seen on Brook Street in Brattleboro as well.
