BRATTLEBORO -- Healing Winds, a non-profit cultural and educational organization, and Humanity in Concert present a Native American music and family concert with Grammy Award-winning flute player, singer and storyteller Joseph FireCrow on Saturday at 7 p.m., at Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main St.

Tickets are available at the door. Suggested donations are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and children from 11 to 17; children under 10 are free.

Joseph FireCrow is one the top Native American flute players in the world. His honors include a Grammy in the New Age category as a guest artist on David Darling’s "Prayer for Compassion," a Grammy nomination in the Best Native American Music Album category and six Native American Music Awards. He also was invited to perform at Pete Seeger’s 90th birthday party at Madison Square Garden.

Ken Burns used FireCrow’s music for the documentaries "Lewis and Clark: The Journey of the Corps of Discovery" and "The National Parks: America’s Best Ideas."

In October, Firecrow won Sing/Single of the Year with a compilation song called, "Out of Many, We are One," available as a free download at outofmanysong.org

Proceeds of the concert will benefit Healing Winds and the Native American Chaplaincy Fund. For information, call 413-443-2481, e-mail humanityinconcer t@earthlink.net or
