Wilner presents ‘Stories of a Lifetime’
BRATTLEBORO -- Jem Wilner, in collaboration with New England Youth Theatre and Hilltop House, presents a new play, "Stories of a Lifetime," on Friday, April 27, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 29, at 2 p.m., at NEYT, 100 Flat St. Tickets will be by donation and are only available at the door. Suggested donation is $5, with the profits going to the Hilltop House activities fund and NEYT’s "Angels in the Wings"Scholarship Fund.
Written and directed by Wilner, "Stories of a Lifetime" is a compilation of monologues and dialogues based on the interviews that Wilner conducted with residents of retirement communities, including Hilltop House.
NEYT alumna returns with play
BRATTLEBORO -- New England Youth Theatre alumna Kara Manson returns to co-star in "Two-Headed" by Julia Jensen, on Saturday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m., at NEYT, 100 Flat St.
"Two-Headed" also features Greenfield, Mass., native SerahRose Roth, and is produced by Roth’s company GAN-e-meed Theatre Project. It is an intimate exploration of the friendship of two women on the early Mormon frontier. Becky Webber directs.
