WESTMORELAND, N.H. -- Jesse Haas, author of "Revolutionary Westminster: From Massacre to Statehood," will speak at the Westmoreland Park Hill Meeting House and Historical Society on Monday, May 7, at 7 p.m.
Haas, an award winning author, has written the story of events that took place in Westminster, Vt., leading up to the Revolutionary War. Some say the first patriot’s blood was shed here in an incident at the courthouse on March 13, 1775, two months before the battles of Lexington and Concord.
The meeting will be held at Fellowship Hall, South Village Common. All are welcome. For more information call Paula Page at 603-399-7085.
