BRATTLEBORO -- Twilight Music presents folk/old-time/bluegrass duo Mayfly and traditional stringband Blackjack Crossing at Hooker-Dunham Theater & Gallery, 139 Main St., on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Mayfly, the Vermont-based duo of Katie Trautz (fiddle, vocals, guitar, banjo) and Julia Wayne (mandolin, vocals, guitar) features harmony vocals and folk instrumentals. Their influences include southern Appalachian old-time, New England blues, ballads, shape-note and roots music.

Born out of a bluegrass jam, Blackjack Crossing incorporates elements of roots, Irish, Gypsy jazz, folk and country music into its unique take on stringband music. From foot-stomping fiddle tunes to sparse ballads, band members Coretta Corbin Bliss, Ben Yelle, Ben Ridgway and Carey Bluhm explore the vast spectrum of American music.

Tickets are $12. For reservations and information, call 802-254-9276.
