BELLOWS FALLS -- The Brew and Ryan Montbleau Band headline the Rockinghill Music Festival on Friday and Saturday at Rockinghill Farm.
This beautiful site nestled in the rolling hills of Southern Vermont has been the scene of some of the area’s most talked about festivals, including Barnaby’s Bluegrass Blowout, Rockinghill Music Festival 2011, and the Green Mountain Music Festival.
Gates open at 2 p.m. Music begins Friday with Barefoot Truth at 7 p.m., followed by Orange Television at 9 p.m., The Brew at 11 p.m., and Jatoba at 1:30 a.m. on the Crazy Town stage.
Saturday, the music continues all day and into the night starting off with a couple of singer songwriters -- Lucas Gallo (formerly of Jamantics) at noon and Hannah Hoffman at 12:30 p.m. The afternoon will feature The Edd (1:15 p.m.), Outer Stylie (2:30 p.m.), The Z Three (3:30 p.m.), Sophistafunk (5 p.m.), Flabberghaster (7 p.m.), Kung Fu at 8:30 p.m., and Tim Palmieri at 1:30 a.m.
The Ryan Montbleau Band headlines Saturday night with its tasteful blend of textured acoustic compositions at 11 p.m.
Camping is free, and there will be a variety of vendors. Strangers helping strangers will be collecting non perishable foods and items to benefit local food banks.
