BRATTLEBORO -- The Yankee Male Chorus announces its 59th tour, featuring four concerts with 50 to 60 men singing in four-part harmony songs from the sacred, popular, spiritual, Broadway and novelty genres.

All men are volunteers from choirs and choral groups throughout New England, New York State and elsewhere. Several local men are members of the chorus.

The chorus gets together on Wednesday afternoon for its only rehearsal and goes public that night for four consecutive evening concerts.

The tour begins on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the First Congregational Church, followed by stops at the United Methodist Church in Springfield on Thursday, Aug. 9, the United Church in Bellows Falls on Friday, Aug. 10, and on Saturday, Aug. 11, at the White Church in Grafton.

All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.
