WESTMORELAND, N.H. -- Ron Bush and Friends Band will perform oldies and country music live on the patio at Maplewood of Cheshire County, on Friday, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. This is the first of three weekly concerts free to the public, with free refreshments.
On Aug. 31, Ken and Cal Heile perform folk and traditional music, and on Sept. 7, Mark and Alice Funk, from the Scots Highland Pipes and Drums Band, present a bagpipe and drum concert.
On Friday, Bush will be joined by Fred Stockwell of Brattleboro. Now in his 80s, Stockwell will perform vintage country music with Ron and Friends. People are invited to bring picnic baskets and to extend their visits. Visitors may also arrange for a tour of the facility in advance. Find directions on Facebook or at www.co.cheshire.nh.us.
