PUTNEY -- Nimbus Dance Works will perform at two local schools this week.
On Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7:30 p.m., in The Putney School’s Michael S. Currier Center’s Calder Hall, Nimbus Dance Works will present a staging of "Lynchtown" in partnership with the Charles Weidman Dance Foundation. Additionally, Samuel Pott has choreographed a new dance that examines some of the same thematic material as "Lynchtown" from a contemporary perspective. Pott, in collaboration with Putney School dance teacher Jonathan Riseling, has also developed a piece that will be performed by Putney School students. Admission is free and the public is invited.
