WEST BRATTLEBORO -- "March Into Spring," an exhibit of still-life and geometric paintings and painted gourds by Terry Carter, is showing in gallery spaces at All Souls Church during March and April. An artist’s reception is scheduled for Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. (snow date is Sunday). The public is invited to meet Carter and enjoy refreshments prepared by the All Souls Arts Committee.
All Souls Church is in the West Village Meeting House at 29 South St. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., as well as during worship services and other public events; personal showings may be arranged with the artist at 802-254-5421. Barbara Garber exhibit opens at Putney School
PUTNEY -- The Michael S. Currier Center Gallery at The Putney School announces an exhibition of new work by Putney artist Barbara Garber. The show will feature drawings and paintings and will be on view from March 8 to May 4. There will be an opening reception for the artist this Friday, from 4-6 p.m.
