New England Youth Theatre presents The Jungle Book, Feb. 12 through 21 with Eliot Barrengos as Rudyard Kipling, Evan Woodruff as Baloo and Allura Jacobs as Caroline.

BRATTLEBORO >> Don't miss this newest young company production of "The Jungle Book" based on the book by Rudyard Kipling from Peter Gould, assisted by Shoshi Bass, Chris Yerlig, and Bill Forchion! A physical and dance-filled re-telling of Rudyard Kipling's famous childhood story, which he wrote right here in Brattleboro! Come and meet Mowgli the Nature Boy, Baloo the Bear, Mother and Father Wolf, and the fearsome Shere Khan, the tiger who prowls the Man-Village by night!

Performances take place at New England Youth Theater on Feb. 12 through 21 as follows: Friday, Feb. 12 and 19 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 13 and 20 at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 14 and 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets are adults, $11; students, $7: and seniors $10. NEYT is located at 100 Flat St., Brattleboro, available at or at NEYT, 100 Flat St., Brattleboro Box Office on Wednesdays between 12 and 5 p.m. and one hour before every performance to purchase tickets with cash, check, or credit card.
