On Saturday, April 2, Brattleboro-area underground music label and purveyors of grand obscurity Disques de Lapin host their 10 year birthday explosion Decade de Lapin at the Hooker-Dunham Theater, 139 Main St., Brattleboro. from 3 to 11 p.m.

The label, preparing to put out its 47th album, recently started pressing boutique vinyl. On the day of the festival, it will have two cassette releases. "The Official Disques de Lapin 10 Year Anniversary Kit with Instruction Manual." The other cassette comes from Polly Black.

The day-long festival will feature performances by Lapin artistes and friends David E. Williams, Destroying Angel, Jawzwa, Jerome Deppe, Oval Portraits, Polly Eurothane, Thomas Nöla and Wisteriax.

A ventriloquist doll emcees the event and Hermit Thrush Brewery will be on hand with the finest in locally brewed beer.
