Write Action Radio Hours on Sunday
On Sunday, May 15 Rolf Parker- Houghton's radio show The Write Action Radio Hour at 5 p.m. on WVEW, 107.7 FM, will feature readings of poems in the original Welsh language, read and translated by Brattleboro resident, David Houghton.
Welsh poetry is renowned for employing the power of rhymes in the middle of lines as well as many complicated and intricate rhyme and metrical patterns to create a lilting but energetic music.
Recordings of welsh poetry will be heard as well.
Join the library's genealogy group
Join genealogy enthusiast Wayne Blanchard on a quest to discover your family roots on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Rockingham Library. If you own a laptop, please bring it along. With the many free databases available at the library, it's hard to tell what you might find. Both beginners and seasoned genealogists are welcome.
