MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Paul and Katherine Lee of Melbourne will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Midway Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Melbourne.

Katherine Sellers and Paul Lee were married Nov. 1, 1959, at Shaw Baptist Church in Shaw, Miss., with the Rev. Warren Tynes officiating.

They are retired and enjoy visiting with family and friends, especially their grandchildren. They are members of Midway Baptist Church.

They have a son, Dan Lee and his wife, Heidi, of Jacksonville, N.C.; two daughters, Terri Stampf and her husband, Frank, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Pattie Smith and her husband, Eric, of Melbourne; and six grandchildren, Zach Watkins of San José, Calif., Sgt. Ben Lee of Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Rebecca Lee of Jacksonville, N.C., and Hunter Smith, Erica Smith and Bailey Smith, all of Melbourne.

The reception will be hosted by their children. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts. The Lees have relatives in the Brattleboro, Vt., area.
