Rebecca Jones of Townshend, mother of the bride-to-be, and Joshua Jones of Brattleboro, her brother, announce the engagement of Alexandra Irene Jones of Canaan Valley, W. Va., to Nicholas Roe Stuart, also of Canaan Valley. The bride-to-be’s father is Jonathan Jones and her step-mother is Jennifer Jones, both of Lynchburg, Va. She is a 2007 graduate of Leland & Gray Union High School in Townshend and attended Liberty University in Lynchburg for two years. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Ronald and Bonnie Stuart of Canaan Valley. He is a 2005 graduate of Tucker County High School in Hambleton, W. Va. He attended West Virginia University in Morgantown then transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg majoring in Business Management. The couple, along with his father, will be opening a sandwich franchise, Firehouse Subs, in Fairmont, W. Va., in the fall. A Sept. 15, 2012, wedding is planned in Canaan Valley.
