The 30th annual Austin Family Reunion was held on July 21, 2012, at the Living Memorial Park Kiwanas Shelter. It was hosted by Valerie Becker and family. Shirley Walsh was the oldest in attendance and Carter Fellows, 2 1/2, was the youngest. Traveling the furthest was Lyle and Connie Austin of Venice, Fla. Games, visiting and eating were enjoyed by all 59 people attending the reunion. Family members to attend for the first time were Connie Austin, and Kai Martin of Clearwater, Fla. Family and friends came from Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Florida. Kim (Graham) Denning will be in charge of organizing the 2013 reunion, with the place to be announced. The 2014 reunion will be held at Living Memorial Park, hosted by Kim (Merling) Gage and her husband Kevin.
