BELLOWS FALLS -- The menu for the week of Sept. 17 at the Bellows Falls Senior Center is as follows:
Monday: Pier 17 Cod, lemon wedge, rice with cheese sauce, broccoli, wheat bread, peaches.
Tuesday: Yankee pot roast, baby carrots with dill, boiled potatoes, wheat bread, apple crisp.
Wednesday: Cheddar broccoli quiche, green beans, wheat bread, watermelon.
Thursday: Meals-on-Wheels: Spaghetti and meatballs, green leaf salad, dressing, Italian bread, red grapes. At Alyson’s Orchard, Walpole, N.H.: Annual buffet and membership picnic, by reservation, call 802-463-3907; barbecued chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, strawberry shortcake.
Friday: Chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes, Marsala sauce, peas and onions, dinner roll, apple crisp with topping.
The Senior Center services Rockingham, Westminster, Grafton, Athens, North Walpole, N.H., and Walpole, N.H. Senior visitors from other surrounding towns are welcome.
The meal is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. A suggested donation of $3 for those 60-plus years of age is requested.
