WESTMINSTER -- Westminster Cares honored its 90-plus year-old residents at its annual meeting Nov. 4 at the Westminster Central Fire Station. There are currently 17 Westminster people who are 90 plus years old. Eight of them were in attendance for the event. They enjoyed talking with townspeople. Lunch and cake were served to celebrate their birthdays. Check the Aged in Vermont article at www.westminstercares.org for further details.
Westminster Cares also elected officers for 2013. They are: Connie Sanderson, president; Susan Clifford, vice president; Kathy Elliot, vice president; Regina Borden, secretary; and Pete Harrison, treasurer. The board welcomed Regina Borden back from a leave of absence and also thanked outgoing board member Arnie Knowlton for his service.
