WORCESTER, Mass. -- Elizabeth A. Miller, daughter of David and Karen (Page) Miller of Ellington, Conn., formerly of Hinsdale, N.H., recently returned from Israel where she traveled with a Taglit-Birthright group of students from New England.

Miller visited many of the major cities such as Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem, slept in a Bedouin Tent and went camel riding in the desert.

Miller graduated from Kingswood Oxford School in Hartford, Conn., with honors and is now attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute where she is on the dean’s list. She is a sophomore in Robotics Engineering where she is concentrating on Mechanical Design of Robots and Mechatronics.

Miller worked last summer at the University of Pennsylvania in a research experience for undergraduates where she was one of eight students who designed Quadrotor Frames in the General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception (GRASP) Lab.

Miller is the granddaughter of Jordan and Anne Miller, Ronald and Irene Page, all of Florida, and Barbara Page and Richard Steria of Hinsdale. She hopes to secure an internship in Robotics or Mechatronics for the summer break.
