BELLOWS FALLS -- Ethan Illingworth has been named the January Elks Student of the Month at Bellows Falls Union High School. Ethan, a sophomore, is the son of Geoff and Jean Illingworth of Westminster.
Illingworth is a dedicated student who works hard in his classes. He takes challenging classes and is willing to put in the extra time to grasp difficult concepts. He comes in for extra help regularly, and he is determined to do well.
Illingworth works well with everyone. He is polite, has a great attitude, and he always gives his best effort. He is a pleasure to work with and a good addition to his class. Always willing to participate in discussions, he asks insightful questions and offers good comments. He listens with an open mind and looks at all sides of an issue. His near perfect attendance is a testament to his interest in learning and desire to do well.
Not only does Illingworth get involved in his academics, but he is involved in other aspects of BFUHS as well. A talented athlete, as a sophomore, he was the starting quarterback for the BFUHS Terrier Football team this past season and he plays baseball for the Terriers as well.
