BELLOWS FALLS -- The menu for the week of Sept. 16 through Sept. 20 at the Bellows Falls Senior Center is as follows:
Monday: Pier 17 Cod, lemon wedge, rice with cheese sauce, broccoli, wheat bread, peaches.
Tuesday: Yankee pot roast, baby carrots with dill, boiled potatoes, wheat bread, apple crisp with cream.
Wednesday: Cheddar broccoli quiche, green beans, wheat bread, watermelon.
Thursday: Annual senior picnic at Alyson’s Orchard in Walpole, N.H. Entertainment at 11 a.m., barbecue lunch at 11:30 a.m. Menu: Sliced turkey, Monterey Jack cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, dinner roll, watermelon tidbits.
Friday: Chicken Marsala with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, Marsala sauce, peas and onions, dinner roll, fruit cocktail.
The Senior Center serves Rockingham, Westminster, Grafton, Athens, and North Walpole and Walpole, N.H. Senior visitors from other surrounding towns are welcome.
The meal is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. A suggested donation of $3.50 for those 60-plus years of age is requested. Information: 802-463-3907.
