EAST DOVER -- Lindsey Elizabeth Brown of East Dover, daughter of Jeffrey and Lori Brown of East Dover, was married to David John Rosso of Wilmington on Aug. 10, 2013, in East Dover. He is the son of Keli Gould and Michael Rosso, both of Wilmington.
The 5 p.m. ceremony was held the bride’s on great-grandparents farm, Fairview Farm, in the mowing near the pond on Jockey Hollow Road in East Dover. The Rev. L. Douglas LaPlante of Wilmington Baptist Church officiated. Music for the ceremony was provided by Brooks Hubbard.
A reception followed at Clyde’s Mowing, also at Fairview Farm.
The maid of honor was Kerri Mellon of Marshfield, Mass., friend of bride. Bridesmaids were Jodi Brown of East Dover, sister of bride; Mary Stahley of New York City, friend of bride; and Jamie Brown and Stefanie Rosso, both of Wilmington, sisters of bridegroom.
Flower girl was Kara Dittrich of Raleigh, N.C., friend of bride and bridegroom. Mini flower girl was Avery Brown, niece of bridegroom.
Best man was Michael Urquhart of East Dover, friend of bride and bridegroom. Serving as ushers were Jon Challou of Durham, N.C.; Christopher Cox of Barre; Beau Ramunto of Littleton, Mass., all friends of bridegroom; and Christopher Brown, brother-in-law of bridegroom.
Ring bearers were Brayden and Landon Brown of Wilmington, nephews of bridegroom, who also accompanied the couple’s beagle, Toby.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She graduated from Brattleboro Union High School in 2008 and from Colby-Sawyer College in 2012 with a bachelor of science degree in Child Development. She is an assistant preschool teacher in the Cowan Center at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, Conn.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Twin Valley High School in Wilmington, class of 2006, and Colby-Sawyer College class of 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business. He is a CA and CO Officer for Credit Suisse in New York City.
After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple are residing in Stamford, Conn.
