BRATTLEBORO -- Brattleboro Lodge of Elks has honored four students from Brattleboro Union High School as its Students of the Month for December. They are Marissa Semenovich, Terran Momaney, Elizabeth Lussier and Emily Mleczko.

Marissa Semenovich, grade 12, is the daughter of Anthony Semenovich and Victoria Echanis. She plays defense on both the Varsity Lacrosse and Field Hockey teams. She is working on admission choices to several colleges in New England with plans to major in Business Management. She is a member of "Students Supporting Veterans" and is an officer in Future Business Leaders of America.

Terran Momaney, grade 9, is the son of Moe Momaney and Debbie Jarvis of Dummerston. He is pleased with his academic transition into high school, and enjoys working with his father.

Elizabeth Lussier, grade 9, is the daughter of Penny Lussier of Guilford. She hopes her academics will support admission to Brown University in pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering. She enjoys coming to school to learn, soccer, and tennis and participates in "Above the Influence."

Emily Mleczko, grade 9, is the daughter of Brian and Lisa Mleczko. She has set goals of college studies in language translation, cooking, or music. She is active with the "Above the Influence" program and is accomplished in music and Chinese studies, she enjoys singing, cooking, dancing and art.
