WARDSBORO -- Michael G. and Janice (Robinson) Hull will be celebrating their 50th anniversary on Jan. 18, 2014. Their family is asking people to help them celebrate this momentous and joyous occasion by sending them a card: P.O. Box 105, Wardsboro, VT 05355. Michael and Janice were married in Brattleboro in 1964 and spent the early years of their marriage in several states, as Michael was transferred to numerous road construction jobs for the Lane Construction Corporation.

In 1977, Michael was hired as a superintendent by the Kyanite Mining Corporation, and they settled down in Buckingham County, Va., for many years. Janice assisted in the Voter Registrar’s office and was also very active with genealogy projects for Historic Buckingham, Inc.

Upon Michael’s retirement from KMC, they moved to Janice’s native Windham County in Vermont, where they currently reside. Michael has worked for the Deerfield Valley Transit Association (The MOOver!) since 1999. He also serves as the Zoning Administrator for the Town of Wardsboro, and both Michael and Janice are Listers for Wardsboro.

Janice was instrumental in founding the Wardsboro History Group in 2007. The couple has two daughters, Ursula, who lives in Staunton, Va., and Michelle, who lives in West Wardsboro.
