BELLOWS FALLS -- The Bellows Falls Woman’s Club recently created a "pinwheel garden" at the local Masonic Temple building as part of a General Federation of Women’s Club’s emphasis on awareness and prevention of child abuse.

The club is a member of the General Federation, at both the state and national levels. Prevent Child Abuse America is a partnering organization of the Federation. Blue and white pinwheels are the symbol of PCAA. The Vermont federation’s Immediate Past President, Midge Tucker, of the Ludlow club, designated preventing child abuse as her signature project and worked with the Vermont chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. Overall, the campaign is called, "Pinwheels for Prevention."
