Bellows Falls Emblem Club No. 153 took part in Operation Iraqi Children. The club sent 10 filled bookpacks for children to take to school. They included scissors, rulers, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, colored pencils, notebook paper, composition books, folders with pockets and one pencil bag. Those taking part from the club were Kay Long, Marie Perrault, Francese Mills, Linda James Simone Crosby, Dianne Potter, Jessica Illingworth, Shirley Schofield; and in the front row, Pat Robinson and Fran Frasca, Americanism Chairwoman.

The Bellows Falls Emblem Club No. 153 held its installation of officers on March 29 at the Town Hall. Hors d'oeuvres were served to many guests from Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut. Installing president was Simone Crosby, the Past Club, State and Supreme President of the Bellows Falls Emblem Club. Others installed were: 4th Supreme Vice President Donna Mazzola of Newton, Mass.; Club Vice President and Press, Dianne Potter; Historian, Fran Frasca; Treasurer, Patricia Robinson; Chaplain, Patricia Jennison; Trustee, Marie Perrault; guest and First Supreme Vice President, Mary Clifford of Waterbury, Conn.; Club Chairwoman
