Temples celebrate 50th anniversary

Francis and Olive Temple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house in the Community Room of Putney Meadows, Carol Brown Way, in Putney on Saturday, May 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. Francis Temple and the former Olive Wooster were married in The Alliance Church in Pottersdale, Pa., on May 9, 1958. They have spent their entire married life in Putney. The couple has three children, Bradley and his wife Pennie, Dale and his wife Jessie of Putney and Marcia Rothra and her husband Daniel of Raleigh, N.C. They have seven grandchildren, Heather Traudt, Eric Temple, Kathryn, Elizah and Kyle Temple, and Heidi and Ben Rothra; and one great-grandchild, Bethany Traudt. Friends and neighbors are invited to celebrate with them.
