Landmark College welcomes two to top posts
PUTNEY -- Gregory Matthews has been named vice president of enrollment management. In his new position, Matthews will provide leadership to the offices of admissions, financial aid, and transfer and career services
Most recently, Matthews served for six years as vice president for enrollment management at Colby-Sawyer College, New London, N.H. During his tenure, his team achieved the six highest enrollments in the college's history. He previously served as assistant vice president of enrollment management at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, where he developed and refined recruitment services, including the creation of a new application designed to speed up the process of sending admissions decisions to prospective students.
Matthews holds a B.S. in management information from Kansas State University and a master's in information systems management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
Mark DiPietro has been named director of marketing communications at Landmark College, effective July 1.
Prior to assuming his new post, DiPietro was an account executive for 10 years at Gehrung Associates in Keene, N.H., which specializes in supporting the communication and marketing needs of colleges and universities. He is widely recognized for his expertise in developing external affairs strategies for universities and nonprofits.
DiPietro, a graduate of Northeastern University with a B.A. in journalism, is also an experienced writer, editor, and former news professional who has presented and led workshops at professional conferences nationally on how to effectively work with the media.
Tami Purcell, general manager of Berkley & Veller Greenwood Country Realtors welcomes Dan Normandeau as a new associate. As the son of longtime local realtor, Paul E. Normandeau, Dan accumulated a strong knowledge base in real estate and along the way developed a keen interest in the profession. Prior to joining Berkley & Veller, Dan has led a diverse career as a licensed professional engineer, founder of a successful travel agency, and as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Windham Foundation.
Dan is well versed in all areas of property management, and at one point was responsible for managing over 250,000 square feet of commercial and residential property, as well as 2,000 acres of agricultural and timber lands. Over the years, Dan has also acquired first-hand experience with construction and restoration projects. More recently, Dan has developed experience with residential and commercial energy efficiency audits and improvement projects, and net metered solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
"Dan's broad experience, plus his local knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills are going to be a great asset to the team here at Berkley & Veller," said industry veteran Bill Murray. "I look forward to working with him."

After 22 years away, Dan returned to his hometown of Dummerston in 2004 where he resides with his wife and two daughters. He is active in the local and regional community, serving as director on the Dummerston School Board, as trustee of the Brattleboro Retreat and as vice president of the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation. He also serves on the Windham Regional Commission Brownfield Committee and as an advisor to the Riverledge Foundation in Grafton. In his spare time, Dan enjoys working on his farmstead property, running, water skiing and Nordic skiing with his family.
