WEST DUMMERSTON -- The Birth of Baha’u’llah, Prophet-Founder of the Baha’i Faith will be observed on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. in West Dummerston. The public is invited to join with area Baha’is to celebrate this holy day in honor of Baha’u’llah who was born in Nur, in the province of Mazindaran, Persia in the year 1817.
Baha’u’llah’s mission was to promote the awareness of the evolutionary nature of religious teachings and the vision of one creative force in the universe Baha’is call God, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Ahura Mazda, etc.
He lived in the capital city of Teheran until his banishment in 1860 because of his religious teachings.
