Holy Communion to be observed Sunday at Newfane’s Congregational Church

NEWFANE -- The sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed on Sunday, July 1, at the First Congregational Church of Newfane. The Rev. Rob Hamm’s meditation is titled "Come As You Are" with scripture from the book of Mark chapter 5, verses 21-43.

Congregational hymns include "For the Beauty of the Earth," "Draw Us in the Spirit’s Tether" and "Go Forth for God." Special music will be "Here I Am, Lord" by soloist Christine Gray. The prelude is "Holy Spirit, Faithful Guide" and the postlude "Battle Hymn of the Republic," both played by organist Martha LaMoria.
