NEWFANE -- The First Congregational Church of Newfane will meet at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Guest preacher Rev Mary Hawkes will offer a sermon entitled "Mirror Images -- Not Just Seeing and Hearing," with scripture from Psalm 15 & James 1.

Guest organist this week will be Peter LaMoria.

Mark your calendar for the following events: Al-Anon will meet Monday evening at 7:30. Sew Whats will gather on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Heritage Festival events begin this week with apple peeling on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. The Trustees, Deacons and Council will meet Wednesday evening. Next week, we will celebrate Rally Day with a special "Blessing of the Backpacks."
