Vernon Union Church invites people to National Back to Church Sunday

VERNON -- Vernon Union Church and Pastor Jeffrey B. Tibbetts invite everyone to attend National Back to Church Sunday. Pastor Tibbetts will be preaching a message from Acts 2:42-47, "This Is The Church."

National Back to Church Sunday (www.BacktoChurch.com) is the single largest annual community outreach in the nation, sharing the simple message and mission of inviting everyone in America Back to Church. The campaign empowers churches and church members with the tools they need to welcome their neighbors, friends and loved ones back to church, while providing the unchurched an easy way to find a welcoming church in their community.

The schedule this week includes prayer at 8:15 a.m. in the sanctuary. Sunday School will kick off for the year at 9 a.m. There are classes for all ages. Adults continue in their series, "Finding Your Worth in Christ." Worship service begins at 10 a.m. A community potluck luncheon will follow the service.
